To be clear, I have (late diagnosed) ADHD. I don’t have Adult ADHD. There’s no such thing. You can’t suddenly develop this mental health condition as a grown-up. I’ve always been like this. I just didn’t know ‘all my things’ were actually ‘a thing’ 😕

I’ve decided to share my story in order to increase awareness, and to generate accurate information.

This will be a three-part article on how I came to be diagnosed — during my 49th year on the planet.

This article is for those of you who spend anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 of the year (or more!) suffering with fragile mental & emotional health.

I write it in the hopes that you don’t spend this ‘down’ time on the couch watching Period Dramas – when you’re suffering from your own.
